Repository Policy / Self-Archiving Policy

The International Journal of Disaster Studies and Climate Resilience permits and encourages authors to deposit versions of their work in institutional repositories, subject repositories, funder-designated repositories, preprint servers, personal websites, and other non-commercial repositories of their choice.

Authors may deposit the following versions of their manuscript:

Submitted version / preprint: Authors may deposit the submitted version of the manuscript at any time, including before submission to the journal.

Accepted version / Author Accepted Manuscript: Authors may deposit the accepted version of the manuscript immediately after acceptance, without embargo.

Published version / Version of Record: Authors may deposit the final published version of record, including the journal-formatted PDF, immediately upon publication, without embargo.

When depositing the accepted or published version, authors are requested to include the full citation, DOI, journal title, publisher name, and a link to the official article page on the IJDSCR website.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence, CC BY 4.0, unless otherwise stated. Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.

No permission from the journal or publisher is required for authors to deposit their work in repositories, provided that proper acknowledgement of the original publication is given.
