Digital Preservation
Abstracting, Indexing, and Archiving
The International Journal of Disaster Studies and Climate Resilience (IJDSCR) is committed to the wide dissemination, discoverability, and long-term preservation of its published content. Journal metadata are distributed through standard scholarly communication channels, and the journal seeks inclusion in appropriate abstracting and indexing services relevant to its scope and quality standards.
For long-term digital preservation, IJDSCR preserves its content through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a LOCKSS-based preservation service developed for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS). The PKP PN automatically harvests preserved content from eligible registered journals and maintains it in a dark archive. Preserved content may be made openly accessible after a trigger event, such as journal unavailability or cessation of deposits for a defined period. Preservation arrangements may also be verifiable through external monitoring services such as the Keepers Registry, which tracks archiving arrangements for continuing resources.
