Privacy Statement
Plagiarism and Ethics statement
IJDSCR subscribes to many of the recommendations of COPE, and the Directory of Open Access Journals regarding publication ethics.
Though a form need not be submitted, it is assumed that the authors affirm the following:
1. Originality, Authorship & Redundant Publication
Original work – The manuscript is entirely own work, has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by any other journal.
Authorship – All listed authors made substantial contributions, approve the final version, and agree to be accountable for its accuracy and integrity. They are free to use the affiliation they deem most appropriate, and IJDSCR upholds the intellectual primacy of authors in deciding the use of affiliation(s).
Plagiarism check – A similarity scan (e.g., iThenticate or similar) shows < 20 % overlap (or < 5% from any single source), and the report is available to editors upon request. The journal currently checks each submitted ms with iThenticate. Similarity reports are interpreted by an editor.
AI check - Authors should declare upfront the usage of AI tools in generating the text of the manuscript,
as well as the references. The editors reserve the right to reject submissions that do not make such a statement. IJDSCR currently checks for AI in all submissions and decisions on manuscripts with substantial AI content is made by the Chief Editor.
AI-check on revised manuscript - All revised manuscripts submitted will be again subjected to AI usage check, and if AI usage exceeds the prescribed threshold the manuscript is liable to be rejected.
Citation Pollution: Authors must ensure that each paper they cite exists. Any DOI included in the references must resolve to the paper and match the cited title, authors, year and journal. Use of LLMs for drafting, literature survey, or reference generation must be disclosed at submission. Manuscripts with several fictitious LLM-generated references or fabricated DOIs or wrongly pointing DOIs will be rejected on research-integrity grounds. This note appears in the home page because of the additional time, effort that is often wasted by 1. the authors themselves, 2. the editors, 3. the reviewers, and finally 4. the whole universe of knowledge (if these polluted citations slip into print) in trying to determine citation integrity.
The following statement should be part of the manuscript:
The authors declare that (no generative AI / the following generative AI tools) were used in the preparation of this manuscript. If used, the tool(s) were used only for (language editing / improving clarity / summarizing author-written text / formatting) and not to generate original scientific content, analyses, conclusions, citations or references. All authors reviewed and edited any AI-assisted output and take full responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the manuscript, including verification of facts, citations, and references.
